Call For Papers

The aim of the symposium is to provide a broad overview of the fields of biophotonics, nanophotonics and metamaterials and the call for papers is open to the general areas of these respective fields. Thus all persons with an interested in these fields are encouraged to submit a paper for the symposium.

All accepted papers (including poster presentation papers) will be indexed in EI and published on IEEE Xplore.

Instructions

Abstracts submitted for consideration should be extended two-page abstracts (including figures and references) in PDF-format. Only abstracts written in English will be considered.

Please underline the name of the presenting author in the author list. Also provide contact details (including email and telephone) of the presenting author in the abstract.

Papers will be selected for oral or poster presentation by technical program committee, however should you have a preference you may indicate this in the email containing the abstract.

Our international experts of the technical program committee have completed the review for the submitted abstracts. After the review, the technical program committee have accepted 60 additional abstracts for oral presentations (besides about 60 invited talks), and 59 abstracts for poster presentations. We will allow people to continue the submission of good research results in biophotonics, nanophotonics or metamaterials after the deadline for the submission of abstracts. However, this time full-length (4-page) papers (instead of 2-page abstracts) are required for review. The deadline for the submission of Post-Deadline Papers is September 14 (Thursday). Decision (oral, poster or rejection) for these additional Post-Deadline Papers will be sent by September 20.
